Kybella is a fat-melter made out of a deoxycholic acid, a substance similar to what your body uses to break down the fat you eat. It’s the first and only FDA approved injectable (nonsurgical) treatment for submental fullness.
Off label, we also use it for other localized fat pockets on the body like bra fat, small belly bulges, and kangaroo pouches. It’s given as a series of injections. The number of treatment sessions you’ll need varies by person.
